| My
workshop is situated on the Welbeck Estate which is close to Worksop
in Nottinghamshire. The workshop is one of twenty or so in a complex of workshops and studios on the estate, also on the estate and close by is the Harley Gallery a leading contemporary arts & crafts gallery. Some of my neighbours include a silver smith, furniture restorer, glass maker and fellow ceramic artist potters Sue Disley and Kyra Cane. It's wonderful to go the studio and become engrossed in my latest work. Having worked in a front bedroom for over 10 years, the space, tranquil surroundings and facilities are a luxury. I'm looking forward to my future creative development as the working environment does influence the work I do. My workshop is a space I like to feel at home in, and to work hard in for many hours, but I also like to be able to relax and day dream from time to time. It's a very personal space in which I shall continue to grow. Visitors are most welcome, but please contact me first. |
