The name of this piece is derived from the eucalypts which were abundant in the Australian bush. This bark sculpture is vigorously thrown in sections, assembled and altered, with layers of slip and glaze skimming over the surface trail of throwing and tool marks to give the piece life and vitality. Fingerprints are clearly visible around the shoulders and neck of the piece. High fired oxidised stoneware.
