The name of this piece is derived from the eucalypts which were abundant in the Australian bush. This ghost gum bark sculpture is vigorously thrown in sections, assembled and altered, with layers of slip and glaze skimming over the surface trail of throwing and tool marks to give the piece life and vitality. Bold halos around the fingerprints accentuate the ochre green rim. High fired oxidised stoneware.
