Bold planes of fresh colour give life to this large coiled bowl and yet it has a composed calmness about it. One that I would say that is very comfortable in its own skin. A fascinating network of fingerprints, tool marks, fissures and the texture of the clay energise the depth of layers and colour of the slips and glaze.

Inspired by bushwalks in NSW Australian bush. This large bowl is made from throwing, pinching and coiling technques. High-fired oxidised stoneware.
